Help Our Homeless Wales

The registered charity Help Our Homeless Wales recognise the potential of Sleep Pods to help keep rough sleepers warm and dry during the cold, wet months. They have been distributing Sleep Pods across Wales.

"As an organisation already distributing Sleep Pods I can vouch for how fantastically clever and simple they are to use. I've had nothing but positive feedback from our Southampton guys. Thanks to Sleep Pod we're now beginning to cover other areas along the South coast. Fareham and Gosport have now got pods for their guys and Portsmouth and Southsea are next. They are literally saving lives..." Sarah Renaut

"Gave a sleep pod to a guy Chris over 2 months ago. He phoned me a couple of days ago to say he's been using it every night but wondered if he could have another, so I took him one. Saw him today, and he was really happy as he'd been offered a room in a house share so from today he's off the streets (St Mungos outreach worker sorted all this.) Sharing this story as it really endorses the sleep pod in that Chris wouldn't use the shelters due to bad experiences, and suffering from paranoia, and the sleep pod has sustained him through the winter until a permanent bed was found." "The Sleep Pods have arrived in Gosport & Fareham!
We’re delighted to be able to say the Pods have arrived! Louise from Gosport and Fareham Help The Homeless collected 15 Sleep Pods to be distributed as required amongst the Street Folk under their care.
As always, we are extremely grateful to the Sleep Pod team, along with the OHTH Family, who continue to support us in this project.
Over the coming weeks and months Geoff will begin the process of introducing the pods to both Portsmouth and Southsea in order to further support those we care for.

"Saw a few of the guys in town this morning. I asked how the sleep pods were and it was a unanimous thumbs up. They said they were very warm and easy to use. I didn’t see anyone that didn’t have one. Definitely a hit." Sharon Whittaker

"I have been coming across people who have been sleeping in Sleep Pods for 3 weeks. Those that have them have really recognised the benefits of the Sleep Pod, getting a better nights sleep, and keeping warm and dry." Marcus Wells
