
Exploring New Partnerships: ALFED Visits Sleep Pod
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Nadine Bloxsome, CEO of ALFED (Aluminium Federation), to Sleep Pod for an inspiring visit.
Our aim as a charity is to raise funds, build Sleep Pods and get the Sleep Pods distributed through homeless organisations. We are not experts on homelessness or rough sleeping so we would always recommend that rough sleepers reach out to their local homeless support organisations.
We are keen to continue working alongside homeless charities and organisations, as they are equipped with the expertise and experience that can help decide where it is appropriate to give out Sleep Pods within their local areas.

In the winter of 2025/26 we supplied 3252 Sleep Pods. This is an increase of 466 Sleep Pods from last year.
We need local partners to help us get Sleep Pods to where they’re needed most. Regional Hubs store and distribute Pods to frontline charities. They keep distribution fast, reliable, and rooted in the community.

A huge community effort saw 600 Sleep Pods delivered last week across the North of England, providing life-saving emergency shelters for people sleeping rough. In partnership with dozens of outreach teams, this powerful collaboration shows what’s possible when compassion and action come together.

When a couple arrived at Cornerstone’s Bishop Auckland Homeless Hub seeking help, they were doing everything they could to find a place to call home, even as they faced sleeping rough during Storm Amy. With warmth, safety, and dignity as Cornerstones’ priorities, they provided them with Sleep Pods, hot showers,

One individual in Bishop Auckland has returned their Sleep Pod after being safely housed — a powerful moment made possible by the dedicated support of our North East Hub, Cornerstone Supported Housing and Counselling, working alongside Sadler House and Durham County Council.

As winter continues to bring very harsh conditions out there, we are providing Sleep Pods to those facing extreme cold in Ukraine. These emergency shelters offer vital warmth and protection for people in desperate situations.
