Building More Than Pods: A CSR Event That Made Real Impact
Last week we had the pleasure of working with Snyk who took part in a Sleep Pod CSR event. Their team gathered for an afternoon of hands-on building, collaboration and compassion, and the results were truly meaningful.
Why this matters
At Sleep Pod our corporate build workshops are more than “team-building”. They’re a chance to bring colleagues together around purpose, to build emergency shelters that will go directly into the hands of people sleeping rough. As our site explains:
“Building Sleep Pods is a fun and real-world way that the staff can be directly involved… Corporate build sessions focus on fun, team work and compassion.”
During the event:
- The company’s team assembled 7 pods
- These pods will be distributed to charities working locally in London
- Alongside the build, team members listened to the story of why these pods matter, the reality of exposure to cold weather, the value of a simple shelter, and how practical action can be taken
