We were delighted to be invited by Arch Insurance to host a meaningful CSR team-building event, where their team came together to build eight life-saving Sleep Pods, small, insulated emergency shelters that offer warmth, safety, and dignity to people experiencing homelessness.
The atmosphere was full of energy, teamwork, and compassion as everyone got hands-on with the build, learning about the impact each Pod has once it reaches someone in need. What makes Sleep Pod events so special is how they bring colleagues together with purpose, turning an ordinary workday into something that truly changes lives.
Our amazing facilitator Doug led the session and even had a memorable start to the day, arriving via a car lift, a first for him! It’s always wonderful to see the joy and humour that come with these events, alongside the deep sense of achievement and empathy they inspire.
A huge thank you to the entire Arch Insurance team for their hard work, generosity, and willingness to get involved. Every Pod built brings us one step closer to ensuring no one has to face the cold alone.
