This week, we were delighted to partner with Equans for a Sleep Pod team-building event at their offices in Stoke. Their staff came together to build emergency shelters, learn more about the realities of street homelessness, and reflect on how simple, practical action can offer safety and dignity to someone facing severe weather conditions.
From the start, the team at Equans showed deep understanding and empathy for those experiencing homelessness. Their commitment didn’t end with the build itself, they have also been actively raising funds for our Buy A Pod for Christmas appeal, helping us get more Pods to the people who need them most this winter.
The energy and compassion shown by the Equans team will have a real impact on rough sleepers across the UK. Every Sleep Pod built means someone will have a warmer, safer night during the coldest months of the year.
We’re also excited about what this partnership may lead to in the future. Equans have already demonstrated that they share our values and are eager to support meaningful change. Together, we see real opportunities to expand collaboration and reach more people who need urgent shelter.
