We Out Here Festival' thank you for your endless support. The venue was rocking and the tunes were booming.

A Massive Thank you to all 165 Volunteers

We wanted to say a Massive Thank You to all 165 volunteers who took part building Sleep Pods in our biggest London build over the weekend. We were completely blown away by your energy, love and enthusiasm - and because of that we absolutely smashed it… hitting the massively ambitious target of finishing all 400 pods 🙌 !

We even finished with some time to spare, and it was the single biggest batch of pods made in any build so far. Yes London!!

Streets Wear

Cornwall Sleep pod build february 2020

Pete Kenyon Co-founder of the Sleep Pod Project explains how you can help make a difference.

Corporate Sleep Pod Builds

  • Our Sleep Pod build workshops provide great volunteer opportunities. Through the workshops you help make a positive difference by building emergency Sleep Pod aids to help keep someone warm and dry through the winter months. The volunteer workshops are empowering, fun and simple to follow.  Volunteer at a workshop. Currently we build in Birmingham, Bristol, Cornwall, Kent and London.

  • We also run corporate Sleep Pod Builds as positive team building workshops. If you know any companies or organisations that would be interested in running a Sleep Pod build workshop please contact us. Put on a corporate build. This is where the clever money is. Companies have “Corporate Social Responsibility” CSR policies and building Sleep Pod is a fun and real world way that the staff can get directly involved.

  • Fundraising – This is where you can generate the most valuable resource. This is where you can talk in terms of people as every £25.00 means 1 person. So you can set a target of £1000 then you will directly being supporting 40 people. Get creative and go big – Get people who share your vision and get bigger. Create a Fund Surfer and focus on people not the money. Let your passion shine through.

  • Put on your own build and become a Sleep Pod Partner. We require you to have a location, facilities and the potential to tap into volunteers and funds But we are looking for the right group to be part of the Sleep Pod story and help manufacturing emergency aids for rough sleepers and refugees. This has its benefits as well as its demands – we would speak with your group as you make your approach and go through what is required so that every Sleep Pod you make is quality assured and fit for purpose.

  • If you have an idea or a skill, or  if you are someone that thinks outside the box and have ideas to share, then let's talk. We are keen to listen to any new suggestions of how we can develop the Sleep Pod project.
