We are inviting our supporters to build Sleep Pods in a covid safe environment, from the comfort of your home. To date we have run 'Build at Home' projects in Bristol, Birmingham, Kent and London and until further notice, due to logistics constraints our next few projects are likely to be restricted to these areas.
If you live in one of these areas and are interested in taking part in a ‘build at home‘ project please email email@example.com with your name and address and confirmation that you’d like to get involved. If we are running another project in your area we will send you the details.
We will be posting sign up forms on our Facebook page. Please follow us on social media.
Due to the Covid restrictions we are not able to run our normal Sleep Pod builds.
As a registered charity we take the covid risk very seriously and have detailed processes in place to minimise risk. The 'Build at Home' project and the collection and dropping of of pods is permitted as volunteering for charity work.
Our volunteers have managed to build 1,600 pods this winter using the 'Build at Home' method. The 1,600 have all been distributed to rough sleepers across England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and France.
It is really important you watch this video to ensure you build quality Sleep Pods.
Please use the markers embedded in the video for each stage.
